Twenty people were killed and six others injured in a devastating fire on the first two floors of a building housing a market, a godown and offices in Sealdah area in the metropolis in the early hours on Wednesday.
After spending 111 days in custody,
two directors of the fire-ravaged AMRI Hospital were on Wednesday
granted bail by the Calcutta High Court which observed that
day-to-day affairs of the hospital were not run by them.
