Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday greeted the nation on the occasion of Prophet Mohammad's birthday Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi. PM wished that the spirit of peace and harmony gets strengthened in the country, while President urged to resolve to "help the needy and work for the wellbeing of all".
Signalling their intent to move closer in various spheres, India and Vietnam Monday signed seven agreements, including one for direct flights between their capitals, for scouting for oil, and an extended line of credit for purchase of defence equipment.
