Shiv Sena demands written assurance from BJP on 50:50 formula in Maharashtra

"In our meeting, it was decided that like Amit Shah had promised 50:50 formula before Lok Sabha polls, similarly both allies should get chance to run the government for 2.5-2.5 years. So Shiv Sena should also have CM. Uddhav Thackeray should get this assurance in writing from BJP," Shiv Sena leader Pratap Sarnaik said.

Addressing the media late in the evening, Shah said that both the BJP and JJP have decided that they will form the government together, in Haryana as they have accepted the mandate by the people of the state. He asserted that the chief minister will be from the BJP and deputy chief minister will be from the regional party.
