Guntur (AP): Seventeen people, including
12 women were killed, and 13 others injured when a truck
carrying them overturned at Uppalapadu village here this
morning.
The truck carrying 30 people overturned at a steep
curve, police said.
The driver, cleaner and those seated in the cabin
escaped unhurt. The victims were on their way to Buttavaripelam
from Macherla.
The injured have been admitted to the government
hospital at Macherla, police added.
