Cong MLA`s supporters attacked Telangana activists: JAC

Alleging that its activists were attacked by the supporters of Congress legislator T Jayaprakash Reddy in Medak district, Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (JAC) demanded that action be taken against him.

Hyderabad: Alleging that its activists were attacked by the supporters of Congress legislator T Jayaprakash Reddy in Medak district, Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (JAC) on Sunday demanded that action be taken against him.
"The supporters of the MLA attacked JAC workers at Sangareddy town yesterday when they tried to question some state ministers about Telangana demand. It is unbecoming on the part of MLA to resort to such attack...We demand the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy take action against him," JAC convener M Kodadanda Ram told reporters here.
Police should register a case in this regard, he said, adding that the JAC would also petition State Human Rights Commission about the attack.
