Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government employees in Telangana region would launch their agitation in support of separate state alongwith their other demands from August one.

They would submit a notice to the State Chief Secretary on their agitation programme, K Swamy Goud, a leader of Telangana non-government employees union, told reporters on Wednesday.
"We will start our agitation any time after August one. What will be the agitation and the dates on which various programmes will be taken up, that will be announced after we submit a notice to the Chief Secretary," he said.

Strike and non-cooperation agitation are some of the agitations being planned by the government staff in Telangana. They allege that Government Orders and other assurances for the benefit of Telangana government employees are not implemented properly.

Meanwhile, the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (TPJAC) Convener M Kodandaram appealed to the people to make the `rail roko` on Thursday a grand success.
