Hyderabad: Just two days ahead of his first
major political test in the bye-election to the Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency, YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy received yet another setback Friday with a second MLA deserting his camp.

Katasani Rami Reddy today severed his ties with Jagan.
This is seen as a major setback for Jagan as the number
of MLAs openly siding with him has now fallen to just ten in
the 294-member Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
"I never quit PRP though I moved along with Jagan for
sometime now," Rami Reddy told reporters at the PRP office
here.
He accused Jagan of adopting a dictatorial attitude and
added that there was no democracy in the YSR Congress party.
"In fact, everyone in Jagan`s party is seriously unhappy
with his style of functioning. Jagan never treated us like
legislators and never respected us," Rami Reddy said.
Rami Reddy met PRP chief Chiranjeevi and expressed his
desire to remain in the party.
Reddy clarified that he never criticised PRP chief
Chiranjeevi despite supporting Jagan.
Incidentally, the PRP submitted a petition to the
Assembly officiating Speaker last week seeking
disqualification of Rami Reddy and another MLA Bhuma Sobha
Nagi Reddy (of Allagadda in Kurnool district) for defying the
party and sailing with Jagan.
Sobha continues to remain in Jagan`s camp going by their
family relationship.
PRP deputy leader Ganta Srinivasa Rao said Rami Reddy`s
issue would be discussed internally and a fresh request would
be made to the officiating Speaker on the disqualification
issue.
