Hyderabad: An unclaimed bag recovered in
Mahabubabad bus stand in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh
today sent the police into a tizzy as MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy
is scheduled to visit the town tomorrow.

Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, MP and son of late Chief
Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, is to commence his `Odaarpu`
yatra` (consoling tour) tomorrow from Mahabubabad in the
district.

Jagan has planned the yatra in Telangana to meet
families of those who either allegedly committed suicide or
died of heart attack after hearing about his father`s death in
a chopper crash in September last year.

Following information about the unclaimed bag, the
police swung into action and asked the passengers to vacate
the bus stand. Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports said the bag
contained a "bomb" kept on a platform inside the bus stand,
carrying the name of Telangana Liberation Army.

Cutting across political lines, leaders of different
parties opposed Jagan`s tour and said his tour will only
"create" law and order problem as Jagan, being an MP from
Kadapa in Rayalaseema region, was not in favour of bifurcation
of Andhra Pradesh.

"We have sent a bomb disposal squad to Mahabubabad and
after examining the bag we can say whether it contains any
bomb or not" a senior police officer from Warangal told PTI
over phone when asked to confirm the report.

Meanwhile, the district police has made elaborate
security arrangements in view of Jagan`s tour.
