Bihar to have regulations on private nursing homes

Patna: Bihar Health Minister Ashwani
Kumar Choubey today said the state government would soon come
out with a set of rules for regulating the function of private
nursing homes within six months.

Choubey said that the department does not have any
data on complaints of exploitation of poor patients and
overcharging of room rent by private nursing homes at present.

"We will soon come out with a set of rules within the
next six months for regulating the functioning of nursing
homes in Bihar," the minister said.
