Bihar: Two killed in road mishap

 Two persons, including a child, were killed and 10 others seriously injured when a speeding auto-rickshaw rammed into a stationary truck on state highway- 59 near Son Bihat village in Darbhanga district of Bihar on Sunday.

The passengers on the auto-rickshaw were returning from Simaria in Begusarai district after taking holy bath in the Ganga river. It seemed the driver of the vehicle did not see the truck and drove straight into it, Biraul Sub-Divisional Police Officer Mukul Ranjan said.

The deceased were identified as Madhav Kumar (5) and Gita Devi (32), residents of Ghansyampur village.

The injured were rushed to Biraul Referral Hospital from where they were shifted to Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital.
