New Delhi: The BJP on Thursday slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal about his newfound association with the RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav who was notoriously famous for corruption in Bihar.
The BJP criticised Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia for their old tweets criticising Lalu, and accused the two AAP leaders of "political opportunism".
"Lalu made crores in fodder scam and he has to pay only 25 lakh as fine. A sweet deal? Kejriwal had tweeted earlier. Now we want to know what kind of deal Kejriwal has made with Lalu. This is a very innovative way of fighting corruption," said BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra.
