Patna: Former Rajya Sabha MP and veteran Congress leader Mahendra Mohan Mishra has passed away following prolonged illness. He was 80.
Mishra, a known loyalist of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, took his last breath at a private nursing home here last night, family sources said today.
He was a member of Rajya Sabha from 1976 to 1988 from Bihar. Mishra is survived by two sons.
