Patna: The ongoing Global Bihar Summit, 2012, scheduled to conclude later on Sunday, is a `big joke` being played on the people of Bihar, according to Bihar PCC president Chowdhary Mehboob Ali and state Youth Congress chief Lalan Kumar.
"The summit is a cruel joke on the people of Bihar," Kaiser told a joint press conference here late last night.
Describing the three-day summit as `nothing but an event of brand building exercise` of the chief minister, Lalan Kumar alleged that he had organised a similar `Resurgent Bihar` in 2007 which failed to attract investors.
"The changing Bihar concept being highlighted at the summit is a sham as the ground reality is totally different with no changes visible," Kumar alleged adding the programme
was a `sheer waste of public funds`.
He also demanded that the state government come out with a white paper on the results of holding the mega event with public money.
