Guess who from Lalu’s family is coming to Rajya Sabha
Rabri Devi and Misa Bharati are likely to stand in the Rajya Sabha biennial election next year.
Patna: Guess who is all set to come to the Rajya Sabha next year? Lalu Prasad Yadav's wife Rabri Devi and eldest daughter Misa Bharati!
A report in The Times of India claimed on Tuesday that the RJD chief, after installing his two sons - Tejaswi Yadav and Tej Pratap - as ministers in the Bihar government, is determined to promote dynasty politics and make his wife and daughter members of the Rajya Sabha.
Rabri Devi and Misa Bharati are likely to stand in the Rajya Sabha biennial election next year, the report said.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) had won 80 seats in this year's Bihar Assembly Elections and with that number, it will not be difficult for the party to get the two elected to the Upper House of Parliament.
The party needs just two more votes to make that happen.
