Patna: Janata Dal (United) MLA Shyam Bahadu Singh on Sunday issued an unconditional apology after Zee News telecast a footage showing him dancing with bar girls.
The legislator added that he will tender his resignation if asked to do so by the party.
The incident came as a major embarrassment for the JD(U) chief and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who is leading the Maha Dalit rally today.
Singh clarified that the function, in which he was shown dancing with girls in a very indecent manner, has nothing to do with the rally.
The function was arranged on the eve of Holi next month as he was insisted upon by his supporters, Singh added.
