Jamui (Bihar): A hardcore Naxalite carrying reward of Rs 30 lakhs on his head has been killed in an encounter with the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in Bihar`s Jamui District.
The dreaded Naxal Commander has been identified as Jodhan alias Chirag Da, who carried a reward of Rs 25 lakh in Jahrakhand and Rs 5 lakh in Bihar, was killed, while the Police Superintendent (operation) Deevakar Narain Pandey survived with a splinter injury in the encounter in a dense forest under Charka Pathar police station in the district.
Chirag Da was the chief of the Military Wing of Poorvi Bihar and Poorvottar Jharkhand special rea committee.
