Patna: Buoyed by the success of the
`Vishwash Yatra` launched by him to gauge the voters` mood
ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, Bihar Chief minister
Nitish Kumar would begin its third phase in North Bihar on May
19.

Official sources said Kumar would launch the three-day
Yatra from Supaul, a district ravaged by Kosi flood in 2008
and address meetings at Madhepura, Saharsa and Khagaria.

All the districts which Kumar would cover during the
third phase were devastated by Kosi which had changed its
course after breaking the embankment on August 18, 2008 at
Kushaha in Nepal.

The Chief Minister is likely to announce a number of
measures for the flood victims even as the Centre is yet to
grant the state`s demand for Rs 14,880 crore as special
package for taking up infrastructure work in the flood
affected districts.
