Patna: RJD supremo Lalu Prasad on Wednesday said
`all was not not well` in ruling NDA in Bihar and Chief
Minister Nitish Kumar was now `plotting` to break ties with
BJP.
``Nitish is trying to get rid of BJP and is thus trying
to engineer split in the LJP (an ally of the RJD),`` Prasad
told reporters here.
He was commenting on the recent merger of LJP
legislature party in the state legislative council with JD(U).
``Now two of the three LJP MLAs have written to
the speaker to recognise them as ruling JD(U) members in the
state assembly,`` Prasad said these actions reflected that
Kumar wanted JD(U) to have majority in the state assembly on
its own.
To another question, he ruled out the possibility of a
split in his party following the recent desertions. ``Our
party MLAs are united and stand like a rock against the NDA in
Bihar.``
