Opposition protest guillotine speech by a minister

Opposition RJD and CPI staged a walk out from the Assembly in protest against the guillotined speech of the Panchayati Raj minister Bhim Singh.

Patna: The opposition RJD and CPI members
today staged a walk out from the assembly in protest
against the guillotined speech of the Panchayati Raj minister
Bhim Singh.

As soon as Singh started reading out the speech
of the Panchayati Raj department, the RJD and CPI MLAs led by
the Leader of Opposition Abdul Bari Siddique walked out from
the assembly to protest the former`s shortened speech without
a debate on the budget of the said department.
The minister had earlier replied to a debate on the
budget of the rural works department.
