New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi Wednesday expressed deep grief over the Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express accident in Bihar.
A statement from the Congress said Sonia Gandhi extended her condolences to the families of the deceased and expressed the hope that the injured people were being adequately treated and relief operations were being carried out.
She also demanded that the central government look into all aspects of the accident so that such incidents do not recur.
At least five people were killed and 13 others injured when the Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express derailed near Chhapra in Bihar early Wednesday.
