Ranchi: The killing of havildar Lukas
Tete by Maoists in Bihar showed their real face, Jharkhand police chief Neyaz Ahmed said Friday.
"What message do they want to send by killing a person
having three daughters. This shows their real face," the DGP told reporters.
An alert was sounded across the state soon after the news about Tete?s killing reached here.
The body of Tete, who was among the four policemen of
the Bihar Military Police kidnapped from Lakhisarai district
in Bihar on Sunday, was found this morning.
His wife and three children had gone to Patna to plead
with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for her husband`s safe
release.
Lukas was the second tribal policeman who was killed
by the Maoists within a year.
Jharkhand Special Branch Officer Francis Induwar had
been killed earlier.
