Biharsharif: A woman was beaten to death and five others were injured when a clash broke out between two rival groups over a piece of land at Kosnara village in Bihar`s Nalanda district, police sources said Monday.
The two groups attacked each other with sticks and blunt objects over the land dispute last night leaving six persons injured, the sources said.
A woman, identified as Sharda Devi, died at a hospital during treatment, while five others were still undergoing treatment for multiple injuries, they said.
An FIR has been lodged in this connection against three persons, the sources said, adding a probe was on to identify other culprits involved in the incident.
