New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday denied reports that his daughter Harshita is entering into politics by joining his party's new student wing the Chhaatra Yuva Sangharsha Samiti (CYSS), which was launched today on the occasion of 107th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

Kejriwal wrote on micro-blogging website Twitter - "Some media running completly false stories that my daughter is joining politics. She has no such intentions. (sic)"

"She joined IIT Delhi a few days backk. She came for a student prog 2day. Kindly leave the kid in peace pl. AAP is dead against dynastic politics (sic)," he further tweeted.

Kejriwal's reaction came soon after a news report stating Harshita has decided to make her foray into politics by joining the party's student wing.

There were questions on whether Harshita would join the CYSS to which an announcement was made at Ghalib auditorium that she would expand the student's wing in IIT Delhi, PTI reported.

Harshita scored 96% in the board exams and cleared the JEE exam to get into IIT Delhi.

Former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal himself is an engineering graduate from IIT Kharagpur. Besides, he even cleared the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) Exam before leaving the civil services to join social service and later politics.
