The AAP govt has issued a circular for bureaucrats which has enumerated how to behave with lawmakers among other things.

Delhi: The AAP govt has issued a circular for bureaucrats which has enumerated how to behave with lawmakers among other things.

As per media reports, the order says that government officials should receive MPs and MLAs properly when they visit them.

It also says that the lawmakers should be seen off when they leave and shown courtesy.

Not only this, arrangements should be made in advance to receive them in office if its a scheduled visit, as per the circular.

Plus, government officials have been asked to invite lawmakers to official functions.

Reports also said that AAP MLAs had complained to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal that they were not getting due recognition from the bureaucrats.

Some of them apparently complained that their phone calls were not being answered by government officials.

This, they said, as per reports was affecting their work and performance.
