AAP poster row: Congress condemns Kejriwal for 'misusing' public money

The Congress party on Friday slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for using public money to brighten his political prospects after the AAP put up posters across the city addressing the Central Government.

New Delhi: The Congress party on Friday slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for using public money to brighten his political prospects after the AAP put up posters across the city addressing the Central Government.

"The sad thing is that Kejriwal ji is using public money for such posters. He is using tax payers' money to brighten his political prospects, this is not right," Congress leader Ajay Maken told a news agency.

The Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi Government has put up new posters in the national capital exhorting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to let the Delhi Government work.

The AAP has been locking horns with the Central Government over several issues, including the law and order situation in Delhi.
