New Delhi: A day after JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar gave a fiery speech and raised slogans demanding freedom from poverty, casteism, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal too demanded freedom from Central government's interference in the functioning of Delhi government.

Taking to Twitter, Kejriwal shared a few slogans which were in tune of those raised in JNU.

Earlier, lauding Kumar's speech at JNU, Kejriwal had said, "Amazing clarity of thought expressed wonderfully."

Kumar was arrested on February 12 in connection with the event to protest the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru on his third death anniversary during which anti-national slogans were allegedly raised.

Kumar was granted interim bail for six months by the Delhi High Court yesterday on condition that he will cooperate in the ongoing investigation. He was released on Thursday.
