 Delhi's chief minister designate Arvind Kejriwal is down with high fever and had to cancel his some meetings today, party sources said.

New Delhi: Delhi's chief minister designate Arvind Kejriwal is down with high fever and had to cancel his some meetings today, party sources said.

The AAP chief, who was unwell throughout the day, had a prior appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence.

After meeting the Prime Minister, he went straight to his Kaushambi residence, where he was supposed to have meetings, including one with the MLAs to be inducted in the cabinet, but had to cancel them because of high fever, an AAP leader said.

"He has been down with fever for the last three days. Even today after he came back, it was difficult for him to sit, so we had to cancel all the scheduled meetings," an AAP leader said.

He was down with fever yesterday also but had prior appointments with Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and President Pranab Mukherjee.

The AAP chief also has a sore throat, which often aggravates during winter. Even during the campaigning, he had to suspend his jansabhas due to it. Kejriwal is also a diabetic.
