Bihar polls: Cong hopeful of coming out with flying colours

New Delhi: With the announcement of six- phase elections in Bihar, Congress today expressed confidence that it would emerge victorious in the polls.

"Congress has always been ever ready to face the elections. We will go for victory. We will come out with flying colours," party spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters here.

He said in a democracy, the party was always ready for polls. "We will go into the elections gungho," the spokesman added. In, Bihar polls will be held in six phases spread
over a month from October 21, the Election Commission announced today.

While the first phase will be on October 21, the sixth and final phase of polling will be held on November 20.
