New Delhi: A misty and chilly morning greeted Delhiites on Tuesday as the minimum fell below seven degree Celsius.

The minimum was recorded at 6.8 degree Celsius, the same as on Monday, the MeT Office said.
"There was some chill in the air this morning," a senior MeT official said.

The mercury had dipped to 6.8 degree Celsius in the early morning hours yesterday but as the day progressed, the temperature rose to a maximum of 25.1 degrees, one degree above normal.
The weatherman has predicted similar conditions for Wednesday with the temperature oscillating between seven and 22 degree Celsius.
