New Delhi: It was a chilly Friday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded two notches below average at 5.2 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.
"The day will remain clear though there was shallow fog in the morning," said the India Meteorological Department official.
According to the Northern Railways, seven trains en-route to Delhi were delayed, and three travelling from Delhi were re-scheduled.
The day`s maximum temperature is likely to hover around 18 degrees Celsisus.
Humidity at 8.30 am was 88 percent.
Thursday`s maximum temperature settled two notches below the season`s average at 18.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled two notches below the season`s average at 5 degrees Celsius.
