Clear, bright morning in Delhi

The minimum temperature touched 11.1 degrees Celsius in Delhi three notches above average for this time of the season.

New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a bright and clear Saturday morning as the minimum temperature touched 11.1 degrees Celsius, three notches above average for this time of the season.

"The morning was warm with clear skies. The sky is expected to be partly cloudy towards the evening," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.

"The maximum temperature is likely to be around 29 degrees Celsius while the minimum could settle at 13 degrees Celsius," he said.

The maximum temperature recorded on Friday was 28.4 degrees Celsius, six degrees above average. Humidity stood at 95 percent.
