New Delhi: It was a breezy, cloudy morning in the capital Tuesday with rains expected during the day.
"Skies will be cloudy and thundershowers are expected in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The minimum temperature was normal at 26.8 degrees Celsius for this time of the season while the maximum temperature was expected to hover around 34 degrees.
The city recorded rainfall of 0.04 mm Tuesday morning. Humidity was high at 85 percent, the official said.
Heavy rains lashed the capital Sunday. The total recorded rain for this season till Monday was 315.1 mm.
