New Delhi: In yet another setback for the Congress, its former councilor Sanjay Puri, who had quit the party recently, closed two long-running websites of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) on Wednesday.

Puri was the administrator of the two websites affiliated to the DPCC - www.congressandesh.com and www.dpcc.co.in.

When one tried to access the website www.congressandesh.com and www.dpcc.co.in they were greeted with a message that the services of the website have been withdrawn by Puri after his resignation from the party.

Puri resigned from the primary membership of the party on January 19 after he was denied a ticket to contest the Delhi Assembly polls.

The message on the website states that he was the administrator of the website since 2001.

The message states, “Sorry for the inconvenience”.

It adds, “This site with doman name CONGRESSSANDESH.COM and CONGRESSSANDESH.NET was designed, developed and maintained by Shri Sanjay Puri since 2001 (Member Congress Campaign Committee, DPCC, 2015).

He withdraws the services after the resignation from his primary membership of Indian National Congress on 19th January, 2015.”
