New Delhi: Delhi Police on Tuesday claimed to have
solved the brother-sister double murder case in central Delhi
after arresting the victims` cousin, who investigators alleged
had a property dispute with their family.
Vishal (19) and his elder sister Shivani (23) were found
bludgeoned to death last night at their residence in central
Delhi`s Ranjit Nagar.
The accused has been identified as Ginny.
"During investigations we found that the entry into the
house was friendly. This meant that someone known to them was
behind the murders. We found the cousin`s actions suspicious
and he was questioned during which he confessed to the
murders," a senior police official said.
The official said property dispute was the motive behind
the crime.
The victims` father runs a restaurant in front of Pusa
institute.
