In a shocking incident, an 18-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped and then thrown out of a moving car in Delhi's posh Civil Lines area on Sunday night.

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, an 18-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped and then thrown out of a moving car in Delhi's posh Civil Lines area on Sunday night.

The girl has claimed that she was lured with the promise of a job by the owner of a company in Shahdara and his acquaintance.

She was then administered a cold drink laced with sedatives and later gang-raped in a moving car before being dumped near Vikas Bhawan in an unconscious state.

The victim has been admitted to the AIIMS Trauma Centre and later shifted to LNJP Hospital.

The police is waiting for the medical report.

Meanwhile, one person has been detained by the police in connection with the incident and is being questioned.
