New Delhi: The decomposed body of a young
woman was discovered in a carry bag in a rented accommodation
of a Nigerian national in west Delhi on Friday evening, police
said.
The incident was reported from Uttam Nagar and the
victim is believed to have been murdered two-three days ago.
The house was rented out to Innocent Nwao
two-and-a-half months ago by the house owner Gurudev Singh.
Police received the information about the incident
around 4.15 pm after Singh`s sister, who stays on the ground
floor, found that a foul smell was emanating from the first
floor of the building.
Police broke open the door and fount the foul smell
was emanating from a black carry-bag.
"It contained the body of a woman in her early
twenties, who is believed to be a Nepali national," a senior
police official said, adding the suspect was absconding.
