DU seeks public opinion for new traffic plan for North Campus

Delhi University on Monday proposed a new traffic plan for its North Campus in a bid to decongest the locality and has invited the views of public.

proposed a new traffic plan for its North Campus in a bid to
decongest the locality and has invited the views of public.

According to the proposal, Guru Teg Bahdur (GTB) road
will be made one-way from Maurice Nagar towards Mall Road
while Chhattra Marg be made one-way from Mall Road towards and
upto Karanti Chowk.

The road coming from Vijay Nagar side and from Patel
Chest Institute going to Chhattra Marg has been proposed to be
one-way, said Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Satyendra
Garg.

Sudhir Bose Marg starting from Kranti Chowk up to
Maurice Nagar has also been proposed to be one-way, he said.

"Public can send their views on the issue on the
website -- www.du.ac.in/traffic -- or through post to
University Engineer, 12 Cavalry lane, University of Delhi," he
said.
