Eight held in hotel security official attack case

New Delhi: Eight people have been arrested in connection with the alleged assault on a chief security officer of five-star hotel in Delhi recently.

The arrests came a day after a CCTV footage was played out by the media, which showed a group of 10-12 men assaulting the man and also opening fire in the air during the incident.

According to police, the men stalked and attacked the security officer late on February 13 after he had reportedly prevented them from entering a pub at the hotel, located at Nehru Place.
The CCTV footage even showed a police van passing by when the goons were attacking the 27-year-old Bhupender Nagar.
