New Delhi: A hot day lies ahead for Delhi Tuesday, with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 42 degrees Celsius, India Meteorological Department said.
The minimum temperature in the morning was five notches above average at 33.3 degrees Celsius.
The sky will become partly cloudy by evening. However, rains are not expected.
The maximum temperature Monday was also five notches above average at 42.3 degrees Celsius.
