New Delhi: Students at the Jamia Millia Islamia`s AJK Mass Communication Research Centre have curated a documentary film festival, called Ainaa, which opened Friday.
Six works will be showcased.
The movies have been conceptualised, shot, edited and directed by the final year students of the Centre`s Master of Arts Convergent Journalism.
A reflection into society, each documentary featured in Ainaa fosters a thought and hopes to leave the audience with a lasting message. Ainaa holds a mirror to society, both to the good and the bad around us, a statement said.
The documentaries that will be shown are - "This Filthy Life" (18 minutes), Transuranic" (15 minutes), "Please Mind The Gap" (20 minutes), "Head In The Stars" (19 minutes), "What`s Wrong With My Islam?" (23 minutes) and "Uncle Bond" (22 minutes).
