Muggy morning in Delhi, rains likely

New Delhi: It was a muggy morning in Delhi on Friday with partly cloudy skies and high humidity levels. The met office has forecast rains later in the day.

"The minimum temperature was recorded at 25.7 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. Humidity was recorded at 92 percent.

"The maximum temperature shall hover around 32 degrees," said the official.

The city has so far received 387.3 mm of rainfall this monsoon, which is 22 percent below average.
