New Delhi: Even as the national capital woke up to a sunny morning on Thursday, the Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy day ahead along with rainfall and thunderstorm.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 22 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
"The day ahead will be partly overcast. Rain and thunderstorm is expected by afternoon," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 71 percent.
Wednesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.9 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
