Pleasant morning in Delhi, rains likely

New Delhi: The week started off on a pleasant note for Delhiites as they woke up to a cloudy Monday morning. The Met office has predicted light showers later in the day.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of the season.

"The skies would be partly cloudy. There is a possibility of light rains and thunderstorms later in the day," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

The maximum and minimum temperature is expected to be around 38 and 28 degrees. Humidity stood at 77 percent.
