New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday released yet another poster lampooning Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal.
However, the latest one that takes a dig at Kejriwal's 'dharna politics' has triggered a controversy.
Though, BJP's ad doesn't mention Kejriwal's name anywhere, it reads 'मेरी ना सुनी तो 26 जनवरी का प्रोग्राम भी बिगाड़ जाउंगा... और एक साल बाद वीआईपी पास की गुहार भी लगाउंगा!' (If you will not listen to me I will disrupt the Republic day celebrations...and one year later also ask for VIP pass).
The text that follows also mocks Kejirwal was being as a man of 'upadrawi-gotra'.
Kejriwal has taken offence to the reference and accused the BJP of tarnishing the entire Agrawal clan – to which he belongs – and said that the BJP should tender an apology for the alleged insult to his community.
Talking to Twitter, the AAP chief has asked the BJP to apologise to the entire 'Aggarwal community' or he else he will complain against the party to the Election Commission.

The ad also depicts US President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Narendra Modi sitting on saluting dais while Kejriwal is pictured with a 'broom' on the Rajghat.
The BJP advertisement asks the AAP chief to come clear and declare whether he is a common man or a VIP. It further asks the Delhi voters whether they would vote for such fraudsters who created trouble in just 49 days.
The poster is the latest one in the campaign war that has been raging on between the AAP and the BJP.
