New Delhi: Delhi is observing fourth Car-Free Day on Friday between 8 am to 4 pm on the stretch between Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station and Chhatrasal Stadium.

During the event, a mother-son duo started protesting against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and raised slogans.

The event aims at encouraging people to use public transport instead of using their cars. To mark the occasion, a cycle rally will start from Gate-3 of the station.

The programme is being organised under 'Ab Bus Karein' campaign to make Delhi free of traffic jams and vehicular pollution.

The Delhi Government has decided to organise such events on the 22nd day of every month.

On the day, additional DTC buses will be playing on the designated route of the area.
