Retd Navy officer, wife killed by thieves in UP

Ghaziabad: A retired Indian Navy officer and
his wife were found dead in their house in Indirapuram area here, police said Monday.

Rana Pratap, a retired Naval officer, and his wife Deena
were sleeping in their house when thieves broke in and tied
them up with ropes, Rajesh Dwivedi, SHO Indirapuram Police
Station, said.
The thieves stuffed the mouths of both Pratap and Deena
with cloth due to which they both died due to suffocation, he
said.
