Sunny morning in Delhi, rains likely

New Delhi: It was a sunny Friday morning in Delhi but the weather office forecast rains or thundershowers later in the day.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 27 degrees while the maximum is expected to hover around 33 degrees Celsius, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

"The sky will be partly cloudy today and there is possibility of rain or thundershowers during the latter part of the day," an IMD official said.
The maximum temperature Thursday settled at 35.6 degrees while the minimum was 29.7 degrees Celsius.
