New Delhi: A woman on Sunday threw ink on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal while he was to begin his address at a rally organised to thank Delhiites for the success of odd-even formula.
Kejriwal was to begin his address at Delhi's Chhatrasal stadium when a woman breached the security and threw ink and some papers at him.
The woman, whose name is Bhavna and claims to be a part of Aam Aadmi sena's Punjab unit, has been detained for questioning.
"They have done scam in CNG and I have evidence to support it," the woman claimed.
Smelling political conspiracy behind the incident, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said, "It is a breach of security. Whole cabinet was present, but there was no policeman present.
"Police is under BJP's control. What if it was a bomb or acid? Delhi Police claims to be on high alert but they are hollow claims. It is a conspiracy by BJP," he told media.
Reacting to the incident senior advocate HS Phoolka told ANI, "Other parties who are unable to absorb the success of odd-even formula are doing such things."

Meanwhile, Delhi Police PRO Rajan Bhagat said that case has been registered and all aspects will be looked into.
"Delhi police had made all security arrangements at the level as per the practice.
The Aam Aadmi Party convenor was a victim of such kind of attacks in the past too. Allegations of conspiracy against Delhi Police are unfounded. One armed company was deployed besides local police, personal security was provided to Delhi CM," said Bhagat.
The Aam Aadmi Party convenor has faced such kind of attacks in the past too.
In March 2014, ink was thrown at Kejriwal during his roadshow in Varanasi. Before that eggs were thrown at him outside the Kashi Vishwanath Temple here.
In April same year he was slapped by an auto-rickshaw driver while campaigning in Sultanpuri, north-west Delhi. He was later seen sitting at Mahatma Gandhi's memorial Rajghat with a swollen left eye.
