According to ANI, Karnataka's criminal investigation department (CID) has arrested three people including the PA of state medical education minister.

Bengaluru: At least three people, including a personal assistant of a Karnataka minister, were on Monday reportedly arrested in the pre-university chemistry paper leak case.

According to ANI, the criminal investigation department (CID) has arrested three people including the PA of the state medical education minister.

Another report claimed that the alleged mastermind in the case had paid Rs 10 lakh to some officials in the pre-university board in order to procure the paper.

The alleged kingpin in the case is Manjuanath, a PT teacher at a college in Vijaynagar, oneindia.com reported citing officials.

The pre-university board's chemistry examination had to be postponed twice in 10 days because of the leak. According to the report, the paper was leaked twice during the period.

Besides Manjunath, two government employees were also arrested in the case.
