RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said on Wednesday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was just a facade of RSS, which propagates communalism and fascism in the country.

Patna: RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said on Wednesday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was just a facade of RSS, which propagates communalism and fascism in the country.

Lalu posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter - “BJP is just a facade of RSS which propagates communalism and fascism in India. When caught and criticized they quickly withdraw their statements.”

He also said that if such communal forces come to power then the country would be of fire and it would engulf everyone. “India will be destroyed,” he wrote.

At the same time he maintained that if his party came to power then he would ban those spreading hatred and engineering riots.

Lalu was convicted in the Fodder scam and is out on bail at present. As per the Supreme Court ruling he cannot contest polls for five years.

His wife and former CM of Bihar, Rabri Devi, is contesting the polls from Saran seat, whereas his daughter and eldest child Misa is RJD candidate from Pataliputra seat.

The RJD is in a pre-poll alliance with the Congress and the NCP in Bihar for the 2014 General Elections.
